Special Meeting Notice
The Shorewood City Council will hold a special meeting on the following date:

Beginning at 6:15 p.m.
in the City Hall Conference Room. at
5755 Country Club Road, Shorewood, Minnesota
The purpose of this meeting is to interview candidates for appointment to the Park and

Dear Council,
I am submitting an application for a position on our Park Commission. It is my
understanding you have several openings. I have had an interest in Shorewood's parks,
since I moved here in 1992. I did attend the program offered to citizens by the consultant
group awhile back eliciting input for our park planning process. I expressed a desire for
gardens during that presentation. I remain interested in gardens and the possibility of
some being developed in our parks.
Unfortunately, I am unavailable for the interviews on Monday, February 7th. I will be out
oftown that entire week attending a business meeting that is held once a year. I hope that
an alternative time is available as I am really interested in public service and this seems to
be a perfect fit.
