Re: Assessing Contract
The intent of this item on the agenda is to have an open and frank discussion about the
City's assessing services. There have been some frustrations. Council members should
clearly vocalize any concerns that you have, or articulate the way that you would like to see
things changed. The end product of the meeting then would be to determine the next step.
Would we bring in Rolf Erickson to talk with the Council in work session format? Or
would be begin to put together Requests for Proposal for assessing services to see if there
are reasonable options available?

ASSESSING SERVICES: The Municipality hereby contracts for

VALUATION NOTICE HEARING: The Contractor agrees
to work
with the Shorewood City Administrator to set a date for the
local board of rev iew and to dedicate five days for
answer i ng calls and inquiries from Shorewood residents
concurrent with valuation notice mailing -
CONTRACT PRICE: In consideration of the se rvices rendered
by the Contractor, the Municipality =hall pay to the
Contractor at the above stated address, the sum of $48,3
payable in twelve (12) installments of $4,025.00 beginning
by the last day of September, 1997 and ending by the last
day of August, 1998
