SHOREWOOD PLANNING COMMISSION

The regular meeting of the Shorewood Planning Commission was held on Thursday,
March 20, 1975, at the Minnewashta Elementary School at 7:30 P.M.
The minutes~of the February 19, 1975, meeting were approved as submitted.
AGENDA
1. Request to divide Parcel 5400, Registered Land Survey #8 - Mr. Edwin J.
Smith, for one additional building site (1/2 Section #20)
Vern Watten moved to have City Engineer and Attorney check out the
details and submit their findings to the Planning Commission for the
May meeting. Motion was seconded by Frank Reese, and he moved for
an amendment to the motion.
1. Check out how much area is considered Wet Land.
2. Check out lot frontage on Lake side per proposed sub-division.
Jerry Miller seconded the amendment.
The motion and the amendment carried unanimously.

2. Informal discussion of Sub-Division of Purgatory Heights as surveyed by
Meyer Associates.
In Attendance were:
Robert Sommer, OWner
Paul Skjervold, Attorney
Keith Harstad, Builder
Planning Commission gave no recommendation and voiced only personal con-
cern.
3. Informal discussion of rezoning of area as described in Public Hearing
of December 19, 1974, with a complete new layout by Minnetonka Mooring.
In Attendance were:
John Cross, Owner
Warren Clague
The revised planning was discussed, but no recommendations were given
by the Planning Commission.
4. Work on Recreational Zone
It was too late to work on this subject.
5. All members were concerned about having a secretary present to take.:the
minutes. All members felt there should be one at all meetings.
