CITY OF SHOREWOOD RESOLUTION NO. 07- U68 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING DELINQUENT SEWER CHARGES, STORM WATER UTILITY CHARGES, WATER CHARGES, RECYCLING CHARGES, CITY CLEAN- UP CHARGES, DRY HYDRANT CHARGES, AND SUMP PUMP CHARGES, BE PLACED ON THE 2008 PROPERTY TAX ROLLS WHEREAS, Shorewood City Code provides for the City to place delinquent sanitary sewer charges, water, storm water management utility charges, recycling charges, city clean-up charges, dry hydrant charges, and sump pump charges on the succeeding year property tax rolls for the specified properties; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has scheduled the consideration of the assessment of such charges and has caused notice of such assessments to be mailed to the affected property owners; and, WHEREAS, the Council has considered such charges at a regular council meeting and has made a determination that delinquent sanitary sewer charges, water, storm water management utility charges, recycling charges, city clean-up charges, dry hydrant charges, and sump pump charges exist for the specified properties set forth in Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, F and G attached hereto and made a part hereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as follows: That the Hennepin County Special Assessment Division is hereby authorized to place the delinquent sanitary sewer charges, storm water management utility charges, recycling charges, city clean-up charges, dry hydrant charges, and sump pump charges, on the 2008 property tax rolls, payable in 2008, at eight percent (8%) per annum, against the specified properties as set forth in Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.
