1. CONVENE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING
President Love called the meeting to order at 9:30 P.M.

Roll Call
Present:
President Love; Commissioners Garfunkel, Lizee, Turgeon, and Zerby; and Executive
Director Dawson; Assistant Treasurer Burton; and Engineer Brown
Absent:
Assistant Executive Director Nielsen
B.
Review Agenda
President Love reviewed the Agenda and without objection from the Board, moved forward with the
meeting.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A.
EDA Minutes of May 27, 2003
Lizee moved, Garfunkel seconded, Approving the EDA Meeting Minutes of May 27, 2003, as
presented. Motion passed 5/0.
3. NEW BUSINESS
A. Approve Payment of Claims
Executive Director Dawson presented claims and noted the Governing Boards of the South Lake
Minnetonka Police Coordinating Committee and the Excelsior Fire District had recommended approval of
these claims.
Garfunkel moved, Turgeon seconded, Approving the Payment of Claims as presented. Motion
passed 5/0.
4. OTHER BUSINESS
Executive Director Dawson noted the use of a Budget Monitoring Worksheet and a Change Order Log as
part of the process being utilized by the Governing Boards associated with the construction of the South
Lake Minnetonka Public Safety Facilities-East and West Sides.
