08-055CITY OF SHOREWOOD RESOLUTION NO. 08-055 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CITY HALL PROJECT, CITY PROJECT N0.08-06 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements, designated as the Shorewood City Hall, City Project No. 08-06, bids were received and opened on July 9th, 2008 and tabulated according to law, and such tabulation is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Lund-Martin Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as follows: 1. That the Mayor and Acting City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Contract with Lund-Martin Construction, Inc., in the name of the City of Shorewood, Project No. 08-06, according to the plans and specifications, therefore approved by the City Council on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2. Said award of Contract shall include "Bid Alternate 1," documented within the proposal form for the City of Shorewood, Project 08-06. 3. That the Acting City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except for the deposits of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
